Citation Needed

...Okay, I'll bite. Why'd you feel the need to fact-tag the Fact Alert box on my page? Other than the obvious confliction, that is. :P --Ink 23:25, 13 April 2008 (PDT)

Response

It was all about the confliction, actually. You can remove it if you want, but I think that it's funny to have a text-link to a citation with a "Citation Needed" right after it. :E - SoNick 18:30, 26 April 2008 (PDT)

Dude! What's with all the off-topic articles?

■My name is Jonas? Arthur Conan Doyle? A Swiftly Tilting Planet? Fenrir? What does all this have to do with anyone? Please clarify. o_o --H Hog 10:31, 27 April 2008 (PDT)

■Methinks somebody managed to get ahold of SoNick's account and proceed to screw things up. XD - J
■Methinks SoNick got ahold of SoNick's account. :E
Now hear me out before you proceed to lynch me:
I was adding links to the dead-end pages (go to "Special Pages" then select "Dead-end pages" or just click here) when I saw that there were quite a few that I wouldn't be able to add links to without directing focus to things that aren't a part of this community.
Rather than be content with something only slightly off-topic, I decided to go all-out, and the plan was to add these articles (the wikis they're copied from were mostly hand-picked; the articles, not so much. Random is your friend. :E), then make some of the random text in the dead-end pages link to them.
Things, of course, don't always go according to plan.
I made my way back to wikipedia for another article from there, and... I started reading.
Guess where my night went. :E
Go ahead and delete them if you wish; I had planned on eliminating as much of the "Dead-end pages" list as possible that day as a way to cure my boredom (I was sitting at home sick and generally not having a very good time), but now that I'm better I've got other things to do, like install the "Beyond the Sword" expansion pack for Civilization 4 then spend the night conquering the globe!

■ This is what inter-wiki linking is for. We don't really need articles on the different types of WWE matches. And what's the problem with having dead-end pages? - (Spazz 12:02, 7 December 2008 (PST))
■Oh, by that point I was just bored; nobody else ever edits this thing so I just filled in extra pages based on what I'd already had.
The original idea was to copy over just enough templates to make the pages work; I'm sure that you've seen the tons of templates that I've copied over through the course of several attempts before I got bored and did something else. The other articles were there because they contain vital information about our community, just like the rest of this wiki. XD
And it's been half a year since I wrote my previous bit; I suppose there is nothing wrong with dead-end pages if you're cool with it or whatever, but why keep the link to them under the "Special Pages" category if you don't have a problem with them?

I'm done for now.

Well, I've added a handful of information to the wiki. It's someone else's turn now, I need to get some sleep.
