J originally came to the community through a chain of events which started with viewing the omake for issue #100 of Gagaman's comic, Manga-Gaga, on Newgrounds. After arriving at the MC during its period of recovery from its hacking, he started hanging around in the Hoaxes & Comics section, and eventually made himself known in discussion of Monty Eggman's old sprite comic, Things That are Completely Different (he even made a few cameos in it and its successor, Dead Parrot Store).
Eventually, curiosity would lead him to join the Proboards Emergency Forum, and he'd stick around ever since. During his stay with the community, he'd develop a hate-relationship with Toxic, often on the receiving end of his insults, without any understood reason as to why, and responding back with his own whenever possible. Eventually, it came to a head when Toxic decided to insult him (possibly sometime in December 2006 - need clarification) as his idea to get banned and leave the community (based on things heard in discussion - might need editing if not correct). Afterwards, life continued on as normal.
He'd also develop a friendly-jabbing relationship of sorts with Squishdiboo, though it died after a little while, replaced by unexplained frustration at his mere presence.
At one point, everyone on the MC started putting up links to their deviantART pages. One fateful day in June 2006, J would check Jenny Tablina's page. He would IM her after getting her 3,000th pageview, which would lead to the two keeping in constant contact with each other, and eventually hooking up online almost a full year later.
This would also lead to him starting to go to #lemonade on New Year's Eve 2007, much to the chagrin of everyone.
Additionally, he's a recurring voice actor for SonKnuck's series, New SonKnuck Adventures.
