The "Flaming Shark" avatar fad was one of the more sucessful fads on the Moogle Cavern's third message board. Inspired by the short "How to Kill A Mockingbird," the epic battle between Ninjas and Pirates and the use of the flaming shark made it an easy target for parody by the members of the MC.
