Amy Rose is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog videogame series. A pink hedgehog who is always trying
to win over her hero Sonic, who is completely terrified of her and her constant advances. She first appeared when
she was kidnapped in 1993's Sonic CD by Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic. When Sonic rescued her, she was immediately
smitten with him. In the 90's, Amy Rose did not appear often in Sonic games. She has only appeared in spinoff titles,
such as Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Drift, and a few games on the SEGA Pico. She became more popular in 1999's Sonic Adventure,
where she was a playable character, and has since appeared in many other titles, such as Sonic Shuffle,
Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed, among many other titles. She also appeared in the anime series, Sonic X.
